Tampa Bay area jobseekers might want to keep Oct. 16 clear.

That’s the day Hillsborough County Commissioner Sandra Murman, CareerSource Tampa Bay and Hillsborough Community College plan to team up for the County Job Fair. From 8:30 a.m. until noon, representatives from an estimated 50 different companies will be on hand at the HCC Dale Mabry Campus, 4001 W. Tampa Bay Blvd., to seek out potential new hires. The companies lined up are offering part- and full-time work.

“We are very excited this year to have employers like Amazon, Bay Care Health Systems, Mosaic, Brighthouse Networks, Progressive Insurance, WellCare, and many more,” Murman said. “The most important thing that we can do in county government is to help our unemployed or under employed citizens to find jobs.”

Aside from the employers Murman mentioned, other attendees expected include the University of South Florida, Cricket Wireless, Hillsborough County Consumer & Veteran Services, LabCorp, Hillsborough County Human Resources, Moffitt Cancer Center and Alorica, among others.

The fair is free and open to the public.
