Thank you for taking an interest in our community.

For the last 25 years I have worked hard on behalf of children and families making them healthier, safer and smarter for the future.  As you browse my site you will find many examples of how I have specifically helped the children and families of the State of Florida.

It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the people of District 56 in Hillsborough County as your State Representative.  During my eight years of service I have worked to improve our quality of life and the community in which we live. 

I want to continue serving the citizens of the State of Florida. I am now working to be your State Senator from District 10. I look forward to continuing my public service in the State Senate and I look forward to working with you to achieve goals that will benefit all the citizens of the State of Florida.
